How Can severe Shoulder Pain Be Treated?

Hi I m 20 years old and I ve been having upper left like in the shoulder pain for almost a year now I went to a spine specialist and he did an X-ray and found scoliosis well he never told me anything of my pain just worried about that. Well I ve been dealing with it and I cannot stand for long periods or sit in the floor to play with my daughter also, it s all I can do to accomplish daily house chores. Well today not only do I have that pain but on my right lower back up to my mid back there s what feels like a bubble and it hurts tremendously any suggestions what is causing all this??

Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-take medications, such as acetaminophen for pain and anti-inflammatory medications for swelling and inflammation.
-Heat and ice therapy shoulder for swelling that doesn’t respond to oral medications
-corticosteroid injections may be helpful.,It should be realised by a specialist
-In cases where the nerves of the spinal cord are compromised, surgery may be necessary.
-exercises may be helpful for pain shoulder
- warm and cold compresses applied alternatingly on the affected area can help by reducing both the pain and swelling.
